JAMMU: Justice Bansi Lal Bhat of J and K High Court Jammu Wing on Saturday directed that appointments shall not be made on the basis of impugned selection list of General Line Teachers of Ramban District.
The Court issued notice to Service Selection Board after hearing Advocate M.A Bhat appearing for the petitioners Ranjeet Singh Katoch and others seeking quashment of selection list of teachers.
According to the petitioners, the selection list is in total violation of notification as the main condition, which was laid down in the advertisement that a candidate who possesses higher qualification shall be preferred for the appointment as teacher, was not adhered to.
Justice Bansi Lal Bhat directed the respondents to file objection and till next date before the bench, appointments shall not be made on the basis of impugned selection list.JNF
