SAMBA: MV International School organised an Inter House Declamation Competition for class IX- XII, here on Wednesday.
Competition, judged by Jasmeet and Monika Bagal, witnessed a neck to neck struggle of dexterous articulation between participants.
Darwin House bagged first position with 35 marks followed by Newton House on second position with 33.5 marks and Edison House on third with 30 marks.
An Inter House Rangoli Competition for girls of VI – VIII was also held.
Students made beautiful Rangolis using chalk, flowers, colours, powder colour. pulses etc. They used the creativity to make different designs depicting cultural themes.
The Rangoli made by the Darwin House was the most vibrant and colourful. Class VI-VIII boys had Inter House Football Match. The first semifinal was played between Edison and Newton House which Edison House won convincingly by 0-2. The second semifinal was played between Einstein House and Darwin House and won by Darwin.
Class III- V enthusiastically took part in Speedball Competition. Inter Class Diwali Card Making Competition was organised for class I-II. Children expressed their imagination by drawing, cutting, pasting and decorating the cards using different material. The creativity shown by the prize winner Sehaz of 2nd C, Pavni of 1stA and Lakshay Bagal of 1st were remarkable.
