NOWSHERA: MLC-Ravinder Sharma, Chief Spokesman J and K Pradesh Congress Committee conducted tour of Nowshera Tehsil and addressed series of meetings at Rajpura-Pata, Rajpura-Kabila and Ghai-Barers area of Nowshera and took stock of the problems of people.
On this occasion several Sarpanchs, Panchs and leaders of different political parties joined Congress Party which were welcomed by Sharma in the party fold. Prominent among those who joined Congress included Choudhary Mian Khan, Choudhary Masood (both Sarpanchs), Ch. Zulafkar-Panch, Suchet Singh,Ex-Sarpanch along with others.
The grass root level representatives of the people highlighted the problems of the areas like electricity, medicare and road connectivity. Sharma also inspected the cite of Memorial of those killed in bus tragedy in Pata area few days back and community hall near Gurudwara Rajpura. He issued instructions to the officials to prepare estimates immediately, for which he has provided funds out of his CDF. Sharma was also asked to provide more funds for improvement of power supply in the area
Later Sharma visited Bareri and Gai area where he provided funds for improvement of power system. Sarpanch Mukand Lal and Sarpanch Rattan Singh thanked MLC for the same. The daily rated workers of PHE also met Ravinder Sharma, regarding their problems like regularisation of their services . Sharma urged the Govt. to take early decision for their regularisation.
Sarpanchs Rattan Singh, Charan Singh, Rajinder Singh and Subedar Ajit Singh also accompanied Sharma during the tour.
