Kashmir is presenting a unique spectacle of flood devastation and stone pelting. The young volunteers are eulogized by some as the Messiahs who saved people from flood ravage and some other youngsters are feeling it their ‘Jihadi’ obligation to keep the security forces on tenterhooks by indulging in stone pelting. One wonders how stones remained unwashed in the City which saw huge buildings coming down like pack of cards.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for separatists and mainstream leaders not to speak a word against street-urchins who were creating obstacles in the process of rehabilitation by indulging in unlawful activities at a time when the Valley requires supportive hands to get re-established?
