Massive fire broke out in District Court Complex Bhadarwah, heritage building burnt

Bhadarwah: A massive fire broke out in the district court complex Bhadarwah on Thursday evening. Fortunately, no casualty has been reported as the courts were closed today for winter vacations but the heritage building and a shrine got completely damaged in the devastating fire.
Reportedly the fire broke out Thursday evening at around 7.30 pm. The fire broke out from the main building from District and Principal session Judge and sub judge’s chamber destroying the entire heritage building made of cedar wood and a shrine of Sufi saint Sain Pathar Trod (RA), which is located in the complex.
The Fire Brigade quickly came to the rescue trying to bring the massive fire under control, but as the stucture was very old and made of dry cedar wood, it could not be controlled immediately. As per the fire officials, no casualties have been reported. As the last reports came in the fire was still spreading. To control the fire, administration also called additional fire tenders from Doda. According to reports the cause of fire is not known yet.
