9 absentee employees suspended in Doda

DODA: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Thathri ordered suspension of nine employees including two doctors, two lecturers and two Junior Engineers (JEs) for remaining absent from their duty in Bhella area of Thathri Sub Division in District Doda.
To ensure regulatory and punctuality in Govt offices, SDM Thathri Akhter Qazi inspected different Govt offices at Bhella today, official spokesman said.
During the inspection, SDM found two JEs of PHE Sub Division Bhella, two medical officers and a health educator of Primary Health Center Bhella, two Lecturers and a IV class employee of Higher Secondary School Bhella and Anganwadi workers/helpers of Anganwadi Centers Bhella-A and Bhella-B absent from duty.
The SDM immediately placed all absent employees under suspension till pending enquiry and recommended their names to higher authorities for desired action, spokesmen said.
Taking serious note of matter, the SDM initiated an enquiry and also sought explanation from all the absentees within a fortnight and instructed all other employees to remain punctual, he said.
The employees who were suspended include Junior Engineers Munshi Ram and Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, Medical Officers Dr Sadeeq and Dr Deepaka, Health Educator Farhat Hussain, Lecturers Parveen Kumar and Tariq Hussain, IV class employee Brahm Lal and Anganwadi workers.
