KISHTWAR: Eight persons got injured in two separate accidents in District Kishtwar on Wednesday.
According to reports, a load carrier bearing registration number JK06-6247 was on work at Pochall area,30 Km from Kishtwar town, driver lost control on a curve and feel into 120 feet deep Nallah resulting both persons traveling in it got serious head injuries. Locals along with police rescued both of them from ill-fated vehicle and shifted them to District Hospital Kishtwar. After first-aid both were shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment. They were identified as Shah Nawaaz Ahmed son of Gulla Wani and Manzoor Ahmed son of o Lasa Mohd Wani both Resident of Khugjam, Mughal Maidan of Kishtwar.
In another incident, six persons got injured when a Mini Bus they were traveling in turned turtle on road near DC office Kishtwar.
After listening about incident, Volunteers of Red Cross Society Kishtwar led by Azgar Ali Sheikh reached the spot and rescued all of them from the vehicle and shifted them to Distt Hospital Kishtwar where their condition said to be out of danger. According to police, driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot after mishap. Police has registered FIRs in both cases and started investigating.
