POONCH : Three passengers were injured on Wednesday when two Tata Sumo vehicles collided head-on collision n village Kulharian, near KG Top on Poonch – Mendhar Road. The Tata Sumo bearing registration No JK12-4844 which was on its way from Poonch to Mendhar collided with Tata Sumo registration No JK12-3964 coming from the opposite side. Three persons identified as Mohd Salim son of Mohd Shabir resident of Mendhar, Ghulam Mohd son of Jamal Dar resident of Badar Mandi and Rasaqat Hussain son of Barkat Hussain resident of Mendhar were injured.
All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Poonch and are under treatment. The police have registered the case for investigation.
Meanwhile, in two different road accidents, four two persons got critically injured here in Udhampur on Jammu Srinagar National Highway and Dhar Road.
According to reports, in a road accident near hospital road, two bikers collided head on resulting in two youths got injured. Injured were identified as 35 years Ravi Kumar son of Sada Ram resident of Basaan and 18 years Sumit Singh son of Uttam Singh resident of Udhampur. While in another accident three youths got injured while scotty skidded of the road near Battal Ballain Udhampur. Trio were shifted to district hospital Udhampur and identified as Arun Kumar son of Jog Raj, Sunil Kumar son of Mohan Lal and Anshu son of Suresh Ram all residents of Mand Udhampur. Udhampur and Rehmbal police have registered the cases for investigation.
