78th Independence Day celebrations held at JK Public School Kunjwani with patriotic fervour

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani, proudly celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event held at the school premises, brought together students, teachers, and staff to honour the nation’s freedom fighters and reflect on the importance of independence.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Director, JK Educational Society, Shashi Choudhary; Principal JK Public School Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal Roopinder Kour, School Coordinator Inderjeet kour, Coordinator Primary Wing Anju Raj & Toddlers World Coordinator Shivangani Pandotra & Academic Coordinator Parvinder Kour.
The day began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Director and the Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
In her address, Shashi Chaudhary highlighted the significance of Independence Day and encouraged the students to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and integrity. “As the future of our nation, it is crucial that we remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and strive to contribute positively to our country”. The school was adorned with the tricolor, and the air was filled with the spirit of nationalism.
A Special tribute was paid to the heroes of the freedom struggle through the performances, which showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and were well-received by the audience. The celebration featured a variety of cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits performed by students from different class groups
JK Public School always remains committed to fostering a sense of patriotism among its students and will continue to celebrate the nation’s milestones with pride and dedication.
It’s pertinent to mention here that JKPS Kunjwani has dedicated the entire fortnight from 1st August to 15th August to foster the spirit of nationalism in all the students on its rolls. Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore paid rich tributes everyday to all the martyrs, revolutionaries, freedom fighters, soldiers and unsung heroes, who didn’t think even once about the fate of their family members and made the supreme sacrifice for their nation. He saluted the parents of all the martyrs for their incredible selfless-grooming and for living their remaining lives in the fond memories of their martyred child.
