REASI: Police on Thursday foiled a bovines smuggling bid by rescuing seven bovines and arresting a smuggler.
According to a report, on specific information, a team of Police Station Arnas laid a Naka at Kanthan Road of Tehsil Arnas and rescued seven bovines from the possession of Mohd Sharief son of Siraj Din resident of village Dharote. The accused person was carrying these bovines without any legal documents and was intending to smuggle the same towards Kashmir via Gool.
The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No.80/2017 under section 188 RPC was registered against him at Police Station Arnas.
