POONCH: A student of Government High School Ajote, Poonch studying in 6th class fell down from the roof of the school on Wednesday and was seriously injured.
According to reports the student identified as Shabab Hussain son of Tarif Hussain resident of Gulpur was playing catch the disc along with other school children using a steel dinner plate. One of his associate threw the plate which landed on the roof of the school building and Shabab in the process of retrieving it fell down and received serious head injury.
He was immediately shifted by the school staff to District Hospital Poonch. Dr Sakhi Mohd who attended upon the student opined that he needs specialised treatment. Accordingly the boy after first aid was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
