60th of 100 days countdown for International Yoga Day celebrated

LEH: The Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, in collaboration with the University of Ladakh and with support from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, recently organised a forum on ‘Yoga for World Peace’ to mark the 60th day of the 100th day countdown for International Yoga Day 2023. The event was attended by more than 250 participants, including staff, students, and faculties of the University of Ladakh. A mega yoga event was held at the University of Ladakh, Leh Campus, on Saturday and saw the participation of l personalities such as Founder Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Vice Chancellor of University of Ladakh, Prof. S.K Mehta and other dignitaries. During the event, Prof. S.K Mehta, in his address, appreciated the various humanitarian services of Bhikkhu Sanghasena, particularly in the field of world Peace, Yoga and Meditation. He expressed his gratitude to Bhikkhu Sanghasena for kindly agreeing to hold the yoga event at their University. Bhikkhu Sanghasena expressed his happiness over the celebration of this event at the University of Ladakh. He also extended his thanks and gratitude to the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga for their support in organising the event.
