DODA: Two youths got injured when the motorcycle they were riding, skidded off and both fell on the road near Prem Nagar area of Doda District on Thursday.
According to police source, the accident occurred at Siploo Pul near Prem Nagar, 15 Km from Doda, on Doda-Kishtwar NH1B.
“Both were on their way to Thathri from Doda, when they reached at Siploo Pul near Prem Nagar, the driver lost the control of the bike (JK02L-8387) resulting in skidding causing receiving serious injuries, an official said.
“Passersby shifted both the youth to District Hospital Doda for treatment,” he added and registered a case.
The Injured bikers have been identified as Mohd Amin son of Anayat ullha Wani and Mohd Irfan Son of Abdul Majeed Matoo both Resident of Dudwar, Gandoh.
UDHAMPUR: In two different road accidents four persons got critically injured here in Udhampur.
According reports, a tipper bearing No. JK14D-9064 hit a passerby on the National Highway. Victim received multiple injuries and was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured was identified as Mohd. Khurshed Ahmad son of Mohd Magna, resident of Jharkhand at present staying at Udhampur. While in another incident a car met with an accident on the Sudhmahdev Road in Udhampur leaving three persons injured. The injured were identified as Seema Devi wife of Sudesh Raj, Kamala Devi wife of Suresh Kumar both residents of Latti and Kuldeep Kumar son of Ishwar Dayal resident of Delhi. All injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur from Chenani. Police have registered the cases and launched the investigation.
