JAMMU: Police on Wednesday foiled bovine smuggling bid by recuing six bovine from the clutches of smugglers at Jammu. According to a report, a party of Police Station Gangyal led by SHO Ajay Jamwal during a Naka at Kunjwani intercepted a Tata Mobile (JK02B/9185). On seeing the Naka Party, driver of the vehicle manage to escape. During the search of the vehicle, police found it loaded with six bovines which were rescued and vehicle seized. A case under FIR No 77/2015 section 188 RPC 3PCA Act was registered at Police Station Gangyal.
