5th Christmas Soccer Championship;Shaheen FC, Churchill Brothers, NGR FC register wins

JAMMU: Churchill Brothers, Shaheen FC and NGR FC registered wins in the ongoing Fifth Christmas Soccer Championship, organised by Christian Sports Organisation in collaboration with J and K Football Association at Parade Ground, here on Thursday.
In today’s first match, Shaheen FC trounced Jammu United by one goal to nil. The only goal was scored by Ankit in 14th minute. Jammu United team tried hard to score goal but all in vein.
In another match, Churchill Brothers trounced Kathua FC by one goal to nil in sudden death, as match was ended with a goalless draw in stipulated time. In last match of the day, NGR FC blanked Mussa FC by three goals to two via tie breaker.
In today’s matches SSP PCR, Ashok Sharma was the Chief Guest who was introduced with the participating teams in presence Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer, Asif Gill, Mohan Lal, Yousuf Don and Narinder Gupta. The matches were officiated by the technical panel comprising Suresh Gupta, Rajinder, Ricky, Rocky, Koushal Sharma, Rakesh, Vijay and Dheeraj.
Tomorrow’s Fixture: Vijay Club v/s Shaheen FC from Pool-A at 1:30 PM; and KC Anantnag FC v/s Young Heroes from Pool-B at
2:30 PM.
