JAMMU/POONCH: The 4th Jatha of 550 Yatris boarding 13 buses was flagged off by BJP Provincial Vice President Yudhvir Sethi and Gangadhar Shastri at Jammu on Tuesday morning and was accorded reception at Poonch by BJP MLC Pradeep Sharma, Additional DC Gurvinderjeet Singh, ASP Manzoor Mir, DSP Headquarter Naeem, Tehsildar Poonch Jehangir Khan and Yatra officer B.C Sharma in the evening.
The Budha Amarnath Yatra which was started by Bajrang Dal in 2005 is now being performed by the devotees from whole of the country with great zeal and zest.
Bajrangdal National Sanyogic Manoj Verma, Provincial Sanyogic Inderjeet Singh, Provincial Sanyogak Naveen Sudan, Kartik Sudan, Manik Sodhi and Tarun Dogra were also present. The yatra will conclude on Rakhi when the Chhari Mubarak reaches there from Dashnami Akhara Poonch.
As per information received from Poonch 1,200 yatris including those who joined enroute, reached in the evening who were provided refreshment by various organisations and dinner by Dashnami Akhara and were accommodated in Dashnami Akhara, Degree College, Gujjar Hostel and Government Higher Secondary School. Others who were present at Poonch include VHP State Secretary Nishu Gupta, President Dashnami Akhara Basant Ram and SDS President Satish Sassan.
