Jammu:- A five-year-old girl drowned in a canal in the city, following which her body has been recovered, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when Punit had gone to take a bath in the local canal along with other children, police said.
She drowned in the canal in Trikuta Nagar belt of the city they said.
Body has been handed over to the family for last rites, they added.
