SRINAGAR: Five structures were damaged in different fire incidents across the Valley.
Fire broke out in the residential house belonging to Mohammad Sultan Wagay, resident of Pehlipora, Hakbara in the jurisdiction of Police Station Hajin Bandipora, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
In another incident, fire broke out in a shop at Sumbal in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sumbal which engulfed the nearby school, resulting in damage to both the structures. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in the residential house of Nazir Ahmad Malik resident of Rampora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Mattan Anantnag, resulting in damage to the structure. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders. Fire broke out in the residential house of Sona-ul-lah Bhat resident of Kangripora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Beerwah, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control by fire tender men with the assistance of local Police. No loss of life / injury was reported. Cause of fire was due to leakage of LPG.
