Jammu: Janipur Police arrested bike lifter and recovered 5 stolen motorcycles from their possession.
As per details, On June 11, 2024 one complaint was lodged at Police Station Janipur by Vinod Kumar, son of Brita Ram Gupta, resident of H.No. 21 New Colony Sheikh Nagar Bahu Fort regarding theft of his m/cycle Passion Pro bearing Registration No. JK02BC/3768. In this regard, case FIR No. 72/2024 U/S 379 IPC got registered at this police station and investigation started. After this special police teams of PS Janipur constituted and with the help of CCTV footages of the area caught the suspected persons namely Mohd Akram, son of Mohd. Qazi, resident of Kherian Tehsil Gol Gujral Jammu.
During enquiry and On his disclosure stolen M/Cycle bearing Registration No. JK02BC/3768 and additionally 04 more M/cycles(R15) bearing Ch. No’s. 1). ME11CK05602006254, M/CYCLE (SPLENDER). Ch.No. MBLHA10A3EHC26485; M/CYCLE (Splinder).CH. NO. MBLHA10CGG4D09873 and BULLET. REG. jk01X/2683 are recovered and said recovered M/cycles Seized under section 106 BNSS and lying in the premises of P/S. Further during the course of investigation found that the one m/CYCLE bearing Registration no. Jk02BG/4209 he stolen from Jammu city area and stolen bike wanted in case FIR NO. 38/2024 U/S 303(2) BNS of P/s city.
