5 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR/SAMBA: Four passengers got injured in a road mishap on Jammu Kashmir National Highway near Dogra area on Wednesday.
According to a report, a Tempo Traveller (JK14A-9309) which was coming from Jammu towards Srinagar collided with a Tanker (JK21A-1645) coming from opposite direction near Dogra area on National Highway. In the accident four persons got seriously injured and were identified as 29 years Romesh Chander son of Mast Ram, 19 years Sunil Singh son of Nand Lal both residents of Ramnagar, 21 years Mohd Imran son of Manzoor Ahmed resident of Kukernag, Srinagar and 42 years Romeah Kumar son of Suram Chand resident of Udhampur. All injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Chenani from where they were further referred to District Hospital Udhampur. Kud Police has registered a case and launched the investigation. Meanwhile, a pedestrian namely Tony Sharma (24 yrs) son of Babu Ram resident of Patli Morh Bari-Brahmana got injured when he was hit by a I 20 car (PB-35P/2191) at Patli Morh. The driver run away after hitting him.
The injured was taken to GMC Jammu by Bari-Brahmana Police and a case for investigation.
