SRINAGAR: Police on Monday arrested five gamblers and recovered stake money from their possession.
According to reports, a police party of Police Station Rainawari received information that some persons were gambling in a car. Acting on this information, a police team raided the area under the command of SDPO Khanyar and arrested five gamblers on spot.
Stake money of Rs 8,130 was also recovered from their possession. Police registered a case under relevant sections.
