UDHAMPUR: Learner Asses-sment Test (LAT) under Saak-shar Bharat Mission was conducted on Sunday in district Udhampur under the supervision of Principal DIET Kud and Sunil Sharma HoD DIET Kud in which 4,794 non/neo literates participated. Incharge Saakshar Bharat Mission Udhampur, Shiv Kumar, reported that 239 examination centres were set up for the conduct of LAT August 2016 at the Gram Panchayat levels and adequate staff for the conduct of the smooth test of basic literacy was also appointed. Besides NIOS had also appointed the observers for the test. Monitoring teams at block and district level were also constituted. Ajit Kumar Sharma State Coordinator Saakshar Bharat Mission J and K along with the State Cell Team also visited the centres in Udhampur.
