JAMMU: Police on Sunday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 46 pouches of illicit liquor (Frootis) including 19 pouches of 250 ml and 27 pouches of 180 ml.
According to report, Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu laid a Naka at Kalka Colony and intercepted one pedestrian Anil Grung, son of Kalam Grung, resident of Gorkha Nagar and recovered 46 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession. He was arrested immediately.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 32/15 under Section 48-A Excise Act was registered and investigation of the case is going on.
