45 aspiring entrepreneurs pass out in EDP

REASI: A fresh batch of 45 aspiring entrepreneurs passed out from Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute(JKEDI) Reasi after completing three-week Entrepreneurship Development Programme. The candidates were trained at Army Camp Office Chassana and are all set to start their business ventures. They were exposed to a comprehensive three-week training course to start a profitable business.
The candidates also visited successful entrepreneurial ventures as part of the training programme. A special feature of incubation was also included wherein they were exposed to real life business scenario.
As part of training programme the participants hailing from different areas of district Reasi were also deputed for field visits and market survey.
“The three week EDP was aimed at providing lessons on skill development, performance improvement as well as business cum sector specific, and self-development training to the aspiring entrepreneurs. The trained youth will now be provided financial linkage to help them start their business ventures said”, Dheeraj Handu , DNO JKEDI Reasi.
Community Organiser, Vijender Singh, said that the main objective of this EDP is to imbibe amongst the participants the required entrepreneurial and managerial skills so that they are able to start their own ventures.
The training was organised under the guidance and support of Dr. Majid Manzoor Khan, Chief programming Officer JKEDI and M.I Parray Director JKEDI.
