POONCH: Forty Three candidates have filed their nominations for the second phase of elections in three constituencies in Poonch District.
There are three Assembly constituencies in Poonch District namely Haveli, Surankote and Mendhar wherein 43 candidates have filed their nomination papers.
In Haveli Constituency 15 candidates have filed their nomination papers, in Mendhar 16 candidates and Surankote 12 candidates have file their nominations.
The polling for the second phase would take place on 2nd December.
The prominent candidates who filed their nominations on Friday included Ch Bashir Ahmed Naz, Congress, Iqbal Qazmi PDP from Surankote, Ajaz Jan of NC from Haveli and Mushtaq Bukhari from Surankote Constituency,
Whereas in Medhar Javed Rana from NC, Nisar Khan as Independent, Yaar Mohd Independent, Mohd Azim Khan Independent and Mohd Mushtq as Independent candidate filed nomination today.
