JAMMU: A 42-year-old woman died after she was hit by a speeding tractor in Channi on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Kamla Devi (42), wife of Chaman Lal Sharma, resident of Qasim Nagar, Narwal.
According to police, the woman got seriously injured after she was hit by a tractor. She was immediately rushed to a private nursing home but she succumbed there, the police reports added. Police have registered a case and started the investigation, besides launching manhunt to nab the absconding tractor driver.
