REASI: Tightening noose against encroachments in the Tehsil and on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Ravinder Kumar, Rajesh Baru Tehsildar Thakrakote acting tough against encroachers, retrieved 4,097 Kanals of State land from their clutches.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi has directed Revenue Officers to remove all encroachments from State, Kah-charai and common lands besides remaining vigilant against those trying to encroach upon State Land Taking cognizance of the directions, Tehsildar Thakrakote sought a report from Naib Tehsildar Thakrakote who after conducting proper enquiry and scrutiny of relevant revenue record submitted a detailed report regarding illegal encroachments and illegal entries in the revenue records.
Consequently, Rajesh Baru, (Tehsildar) Collector 1st Class Thakrakote in exercise of powers vested in him under Section 133 of Land Revenue Act, Svt. 1996 and on the basis of recommendations made by field staff after perusal of relevant revenue records, passed orders to eject encroachers namely Ghulam Hussain, son of Fata, Mohd Hussain, son of Baja, Faried, son of Baja, Tirth Ram, son of Fukra, Noor Jamal, son of Mir Baaz, Mohd Finsha and Mohd Ashraf, sons of Ali Mohd, residents of Chandi, Abdul Rashid, son of Adha, Bhagat Ram, son of Basantu, Chamial Singh, son of Mani Ram, Krishan Singh, son of Amru, Ishmail, son of Kala, resident of Gabbar, Shakeel Ahmed, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Garhi, Ram Saran, son of Mutaba Hussain, Mumtaz Ahmed, son of Noor Din, resident of Panassa, Sarbar Hussain, son of Wali Mohd, Krishan Singh, son of Shivu, Bashir son of Abdul, Chamail Singh and Bahadur Singh, sons of Mania, Budhi Singh, son of Jagat Ram, resident of Ladha, Angrez Singh, son of Punjab Singh and Sarbar Hussain, son of Wali Mohd, resident of Chakalhawalan from State Land (Makbooja Mehkama Mal) measuring 4097 Kanals under various Khasra numbers in different villages of Tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi and subsequently the field staff removed the aforesaid encroachments with the help of District Police Reasi.
Rajesh Baru as Tehsildar Thakrakote has already retrieved 8,231 Kanals of State Land, 437 Kanals of Kah-charai Land and 40 Kanals of Common Land from illegal possession of encroachers.
