Jammu: In a quest to stern menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which teams of Police Posts Chowki Choura and Jourian acted stringently on specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 4 vehicles involved in illegal mining. The seized vehicles include two tippers (JK20-2265 and JK02BC-2985) seized by Chowki Choura Police and two tractor-trolleys without registration numbers seized by Jourian Police.
The recoveries were made by Incharge Police Post Chowki Choura PSI Pankaj Katoch and Incharge Police Post Jourian PSI Karnail Singh under their respective jurisdictions.
