NAGROTA : Police on Wednesday arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 2,800 as a stake money from the gambling spot.
According to a report, a team of Nagrota Police conducted a raid in Jagti area and apprehended four gamblers along with playing cards and recovered stake money of Rs. 2,800. The arrested gamblers were identified as Kalyan Singh son of Karan Singh, Rahuldeep Singh son of Suram Singh and Bhopinder son of Charjeevan Singh all residents of Jagti, Surinder Sharma son of Thakur Das resident of Ban Panjgrian Nagrota.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Khaliq Choudhary. All the gamblers were produced in the court of law under Public Gambling Act.
