JAMMU: Iknoor shall be playing against Ragini in the final of the under-12 Cadet girls’ event in the ongoing 38th State Table Tennis Championship, organised by J and K Table Tennis Association, at MA Stadium, here. Earlier, in the semifinals, Iknoor beat Divyanshi in straight sets while Ragini trounced Jhanvi in similar fashions. Meanwhile, in under-12 cadet boys’ singles event, semifinals lineup has been drawn with Akhilesh, Rohan Langar, Karmanya and Tejas reaching the last four stages. The Results: Quarterfinals: Akhilesh bt Kanwarjot 2-0, Rohan Langar bt Pratham 2-0, Karmanya bt Ragdeep Singh 2-0, Tejas bt Aarit 2-1. Other Results: Sub Junior boys: First Round: Pranay bt Aashish 2-1, Shivam Goel bt Abhijay 2-1, Aarit bt Akshit 2-1, Harshit Rohmetra bt Pratham 2-1, Sudhikshan bt Pranav Chibber 2-1, Pragun bt Ceyl 2-0. Today’s matches were officiated by Sandeep Khadotra and Meenu Rajesh.
