AKHNOOR: PG Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu in collaboration with J and K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society, Jammu and Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at District Hospital Akhnoor on Sunday.
Blood donors from the Bajrang Dal and Vishaw Hindu Parishad participated in the camp and donated blood voluntarily.
Donors were screened by medical officer along with his team from GMC Jammu. Blood Mobile Van was deputed for the camp. About 30 units of blood were collected in the camp.
