1. Choose quality: Learn to choose quality over quantity. We are slowly becoming a nation of mindless consumerism especially in urban areas. So we unnecessarily accumulate things which we don’t need. In the end all that we create is nothing but clutter. When you focus on quality, you see life in a different way. You will not stand in a queue for each and every sale in town. When you choose quality, you lead a happy life. Before you buy anything, ask this fundamental question, “Will this add true value to my life?” The same question is applicable for each and every relationship in your life. Gently walk away from relationships that drain you emotionally and physically.
2. Be your own person: What will he/she think? What did he say? What is he/she doing? Why did she/he put that status update on Facebook? Was it something to do with me? The best way to live is to be your own person. In the end, the world doesn’t really care even if you are wallowing in misery. So, no need to waste your precious time and energy on people who don’t add value to your life. Concentrate on your wellness and add more to your life by constantly reinventing your self.
3. Celebrate what you have : Practice gratitude. Celebrate your life by being grateful whatever you have. Once you practice gratitude, your life can only bring in more joy and beauty.
