SRINAGAR: A woman died while twelve others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A motorcycle bearing registration number JK09A/3790 hit and injured a pedestrian Fatima Begum resident of Hiri at Hiri, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03/6915 and a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK03C/6413 collided near Akingam Achabal Anantnag resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Zeeshan Ahmad Ganai and pillion rider Faheem Ahanger son of Gul Mohammad residents of Shehlipora. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK04B/0906 and a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01F/7778 collided near Imam Bara Budgam resulting in injuries to seven persons boarded in the cars. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Scorpio bearing registration number JK01Q/7861 and a motorcycle bearing registration number JK18/2599 collided near Manzhama Anantnag resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Manzoor Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Arwani Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Yet again, a Maruti car bearing number 7240 hit a scooter bearing registration number JK01B/8512 at Chota Bazar Karannagar, Srinagar resulting in injuries to Scooterist and pillion rider.
Both the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Respective police stations have registered the cases.
