UDHAMPUR: In three separate road accidents, three persons got injured here in Udhampur and Samba on Sunday.
According to a report, a biker bearing (JK14D-3702) hit a scooty near Kallar resulting in scooty rider identified as 38 years Sanjay Kumar son of Jagdish Kumar resident of Udhampur getting injured. Local people shifted the victim to District Hospital Udhampur from where he was further referred to GMCH Jammu.
While in another accident, an unknown scooty hit a pedestrian near Slathia Chowk in Udhampur. Pedestrian identified as Vidya Devi wife of Basu Dev resident of Laddan Power House locality was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Udhampur Police has registered the cases for investigation.
Meanwhile, one motorcyclist was injured when his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02-8253 was hit by a Swift Car bearing registration number JK21A-0165 on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Diani. The locals rushed injured to Government District Hospital Samba where he was under treatment. He was identified as Kuldeep Raj (37) son of Gorkha Ram resident of Kullian (Punjab). Police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
