JAMMU: Delhi Public School (DPS) defeated RRL School by four wickets in the league match of Second Col RN Chopra Challenge under-16 Cup 2014-15, played at IIIM CSIR Ground, here on Thursday. DPS won the toss and elected to field first.
Bating first, RRL School made a challengeable total of 191 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Sujit Kumar and Ayush Andotra played a not out knocks of 46 and 25 runs while Hardik and Hrithik Sharma added 37 and 33 runs respectively to the total. For DPS, Aryan Gandral and Aryan Gupta took one wicket each.
In reply, DPS with the brilliant knock of 69 runs by Aryan Gandral chased the target for six wickets in 19.2 overs. Raj also contributed 49 valuable runs and Satyabrat added 23 runs to the winning total. For RRL, Vansh clinched two wickets while Sumit and Hardik shared one each.
