SAMBA: Ghagwal Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by seizing three vehicles loaded with bovines during routine Naka on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Ghagwal in Samba District.
According to a report, Naka Police Party led by SHO Ghagwal Inspector Suraj Pathania stopped all three vehicles for checking. On seeing the Naka party, all the drivers along with associates managed to escape from the spot leaving their vehicles. During search of all three vehicles (JK02AH-7486, JK02AL-1611 and one without number) 28 bovines were found loaded in it. All vehicles were seized and bovines were rescued.
Ghagwal Police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
