SHOPIAN: About 250 employees of different departments were imparted necessary training regarding EVMs by the Master Trainers at DIET Shopian on Saturday.
District Election Officer Shopian, during the training emphasised for smooth conduct of free and fair Assembly elections in the district. He also informed that as many as 1,61,456 electorates including 86,114 male and 75,329 female voters shall exercise their franchise in the two constituencies of Shopian and Wachi in the district. It was also given out that 196 polling stations have been set up in the district for the purpose.
