25 polling parties dispatched from Ramnagar

UDHAMPUR: As many as 25 polling parties were dispatched to respective polling stations in 62- Ramnagar Constituency of district on Sunday for the second phase of the Assembly Elections scheduled to be held on 2nd December, 2014. The polling parties were dispatched from Government Women College, Udhampur to the far flung polling station of the constituency one day advance.
The polling parties were dispatched under the overall supervision of District Election Officer, Yasha Mudgal, in presence of General Observer 62-Ramnagar, R.P Singh.
The 25 polling parties along with security persons were boarded in eleven vehicles and were dispatched to the far flung polling stations of Basantgarh and Kulwanta of 62-Ramnagar constituency.
Adequate security personnel from Jammu and Kashmir Police and central paramilitary forces were deployed along with the polling parties.
Returning Officer, Ramnagar, Deep Kumar, Additional SP, Khalil Poswal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, ARO (Tehsildar) Ramnagar, Mrs. Kavita Pandoh and election staff were present on the occasion.
