MAHORE: Police on Saturday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 24 bovines and arresting a smuggler.
According to a report, specific information was received at Police Station Mahore through reliable source that some persons are on way along with bovines towards village Dumail Nar Kindora without any legal permission and reached near Adbase. On this, a team led by In-charge Police Post Dewal reached the spot and rescued 24 bovines from the possession of accused namely Roshan Din son of Mamdoo Jaral resident of Adbase Tehsil Mahore District Reasi . The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 40/2016 under section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act was registered at Police Station Mahore.
