SRINAGAR: On the basis of the recommendations of J and K Services Selection Board, the Government on Monday issued appointment order of 212 Junior Engineers in grade -II in the pay band-2 of Rs 9,300-34,800 with Grade pay of Rs 4,200 in Roads and Buildings Department. The appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years.
The appointment order in this regard was approved by Minister for Roads and Buildings Abdul Rehman Veeri on last Wednesday.
The minister said that the appointees hailing from Jammu Division shall report to Chief Engineer, PW(R&B), Jammu and those hailing from Kashmir Division shall report to Chief Engineer, Pw(R&B). While as the candidates from Ladakh region shall report to District Superintending Engineer (Civil) Public Works (R&B) Department Leh.
