MENDHAR: Over 21 students got injured on Tuesday when the school bus turned turtle near Karna.
According to a report, a school bus (JK02S-8457) of Maqudas Academy, Mendhar which was on its routine duty to drop students to their homes on its way to Naka Manyari turned turtle on the road near Karna.
In the accident over 21 students boarding in the bus got injured who were rushed to Sub – District Hospital Mendhar with the help of locals and police.
Out of 21 injured, seven were under treatment in the hospital identified as Rakshinda Kouser (14) daughter of Mohd Farooq, Rabia Kouser (16) daughter of Aznad Hussain, Shahbaz Ahmed (15) son of Zabir Hussain, Saiba Kouser (18) daughter of Tanveer Ahmed, Rakshinda Kouser (14) daughter of Safraz Ahmed, Nadeem Kouser (16) daughter Mohd Munshi all residents of Naka Manyari and Saima Tabassum (18) daughter Mohd Suleman resident of Prate. However rest were discharged after giving first aid.
A case under FIR No 108/2014 sec 279,337 was registered at Police Station Gursain.
