UK-founded Congress says the 2024 General Elections are a fight between regressive and progressive forces. By regressive forces it obviously means ardent believers in the concept of Hindutva and by progressive forces it means those who hate majority community and anti-Bharat and anti-Sanatan secularism, which was inserted in the preamble of the constitution by 42nd Amendment in 1976, when the whole opposition was in jail and judiciary and media under war-time restrictions.
