AKHNOOR: About twenty passengers got injured on Tuesday when a Akhnoor bound bus rolled down.
According to a report, an over-speeding and over loaded bus which was on its way from Jourian to Akhnoor rolled down near village Bal Bagh resulting in more than twenty passengers getting injuries.
On receiving the information, a police party led by SHO Akhnoor Pushpinder Singh rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to SDH Akhnoor.
The injured were identified as Ajit Kumar, Shakuntla Devi, Raj Kumar, Raman Dogra, Suresh Kumar, Rattan Lal, Raj DevI, Rajinder Kumar, Subash Gupta, Roshan Sharma, Gurdev Singh, Subash Kumar and Rattano Devi. Akhnoor Police has registered a case for further investigation.
