Jammu: Two persons, including a 12-year-old girl, were killed and two others injured in separate mishaps across Jammu region today.
Payal Devi, a resident of Poonch, was killed when she was hit by an Army vehicle in the district, a police officer said.
He said that the driver of the vehicle managed to flee from the spot.
In another accident, Jagdish Singh died when the car he was driving fell into a deep gorge in the Ramban district, the officer said.
In the third mishap, two persons including the driver of a truck were injured when it skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in the Ramban district, he said.
Cases have been registered in all the three accidents, the officer said.
