JAMMU: Two-day Jammu District Archery Championship organised by Archery Association of Jammu and Kashmir under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association, concluded on Thursday at J&K Police Sports Complex, Gulshan Ground, here.
Sports Officer of the J&K Police, SSP Dushyant Sharma was the Chief Guest, who gave away the prizes to the winners.
Earlier, speaking to the gathering, Organising Secretary, Vikas Gupta expressed gratitude to ADGP Armed J&K, AK Choudhary for providing logistic support and cooperation in the successful conduct of the event.
Prominent among others present were Inspector Kuldeep Handoo (Sports Officer JKP), Inspector Sharat Chander, Rajan Sharma, Mushtaq Ahmed (DySP Sports), Darshna Kumari, Simmi Sharma, Aman Sangral, Sahil Sharma and Meenu Choudhary.

Indian Round: Sub Junior Boys: 20 mtr: Dhron Dev, Ist, Nitish Bawa, 2nd and Umesh Verma, 3rd. Sub Junior Girls: 20 mtr: Rasjot Kour, 1st; Harsheen Kour, 2nd and Davleen Kour 3rd. Senior Boys 30 mtrs: Bhawani Jasrotia, Ist, Gourav Bandra, 2nd and Sahil Magotra, 3rd. Senior Women 30 mtr: Usha Devi, 1st; Mehnaz, 2nd and Rita Devi, 3rd. Compound Bow 50 mts: Senior Men: Amit Thakur, 1st; Shubham Jasrotia, 2nd and Bhawani, 3rd. Senior Women: Anu Bhagal, 1st and Manisha Aggarwal, 2nd. Junior Boys: Nikhil Sharma, 1st. Senior Boys: Shubham Sharma, 1st; Amit Thakur, 2nd and Bhawani Jasrotia, 3rd. Compound Senior Girls: Manisha Aggarwal, 1st and Anu Bhagat, 2nd.
