2 bike lifters held, motorcycles recovered

SAMBA: In two separate cases, police arrested two bike lifters and recovered two stolen bikes their possession on Monday.
According to a report, on 17th March 2017, a written complaint was lodged in Police Station Ghagwal by Sudesh Sharma son of Raj Kumar Sharma resident of Ward no.17 Kathua that he came to Nonath Aashram to participate in Kirtan, after Kirtan when he came outside, he found his motorcycle stolen. On this, a case vide FIR no.25/2017 under section 379 RPC was registered. Thereafter a team was constituted by the SSP Samba under the supervision of DY. SP Hqrs Samba to trace out the stolen vehicle as well as accused. Acting on the directions of higher ups, Ghagwal Police arrested Shubam Pathania son of Hardev Pathania resident of Ward No. 14 Kathua and recovered the said stolen motorcycle from his possession.
Meanwhile, Bari Brahmana Police also recovered stolen motorcycle and arrested the bike lifter. As per the police, on the report of Kulvinder kumar son of Ramesh Lal resident of Sanjay Nagar, Jammu about the theft of his motorcycle (JK02AX-0161) a case vide FIR No. 5/17 under section 379 RPC was registered. Yesterday Bari Brahmana Police led by SHO Mahesh Sharma arrested Liaqat Ali son of Gh. Nabi resident of Kheri, Bishnah and recovered bike on his disclosure.
