SRINAGAR: Nineteen persons were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Anantnag, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK03D-8221 driven by Mungta resident of Mamal Pahalgam struck with a road side rock at Aru Pahalgam, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pahalgam in which two tourists were injured. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK01F-3305 driven by Shabir Ahmad Ganie son of Habib-ullah resident of Adigam collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03D-0070 driven by Mohammad Syed Mir son of Abdul Hamid resident of Dardkot Uri at Buchoo, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in injuries to both drivers including a pillion rider namely Javeed Ahmad Dand son of Ali Mohd resident of Adigam. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
A Maruti Car without registration number driven by Amir Ahmad Khatana son of Manzoor Ahmad resident of Dandipora turned turtle at Arshin Daksun, resulting in injuries to two persons namely Ghulam Nabi Awan son of Abdul Ghaffar resident of Dandipora and Javeed Ahmad Katri son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Gadvii. The injured were shifted to Public Health Centre Larnoo for treatment.
A Tavera bearing registration number JK03C-4339 driven by Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Sundbari collided with a van bearing registration number JK02J-9401 driven by Arif Ahmad Khan son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Sunderbari at Soyan Wangam, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kokernag, resulting in injuries to one passenger namely Manzoor Ahmad Ahangar son in law of Gh Hassan Mengnoo resident of Sundbari. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Fiat car bearing registration number JK02BN-9007 driven by Suresh Kumar son of Ramlal Bhan resident of Ghatha Baderwah hit and injured a minor girl namely Sania Rayees daughter of Rayees ahmad shah resident of Obadhuna at Obadhuna, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Achabal. The injured girl was shifted to Primary Health Centre Achabal for treatment
In Budgam, a load carrier without registration number driven by Mohammad Shafi Sheikh son of Mohammad Abdullah resident of Sonpah turned turtle near Sondipora Beerwah resulting in injuries to 04 persons. Injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Beerwah where one injured was referred to JVC Bemina for further treatment.
In Ganderbal, an Innova vehicle bearing registration number JK01N-8522 hit and injured a boy namely Rizwan Majeed son of Ab Majeed resident of Gouch Mohalla Akhal, Kangan. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
In Kulgam, a motor cycle bearing registration number PB11AL-5347 hit and injured a lady namely Sharifa Begum wife of Ghulam Hassan Bhat resident of Pahloo at Herpora Pahloo, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatement where from she was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment.
An unknown motorcyclist hit and injured a pedestrian namely Mohd Ishaq Shan son of Mohd Maqbool resident of Nowpora, Akhran at Akhran, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Mirbazar. The injured was shifted to SDH Vessu for treatment.
In Awantipora an unknown motorcyclist hit and injured a minor boy at Dobiwan, Tral. The said injured was shifted to SDH Tral where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
An unknown motorcyclist hit two boys namely Gulzar Ahmad Kumar son of Ghulam Mohammad and Mohd Ashraf Wagay son of Ab Rahim residents of Rathsuna at Saimoh, Tral.
Both the boys got injured and shifted to Sub District Hospital Tral, where from they were referred to SKIMS Soura for furher treatment.
Police has registered cases in this regard.
