JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Thang-Ta- Association under the aegis of Thang-Ta Federation of India is going to hold Fifth Thang-Ta Federation Cup 2016 from 29th July to 2nd August 2016 at Indoor Sports Complex MA stadium, here. This was informed by Organising Secretary of the Championship, Ayjaz Bhat in a press conference here on Tuesday.
“All the players and officials of the association are asked to report at MA Stadium Jammu on 26th July,” he added.
The championship is sponsored by J and K State Sports Council.
Top eight teams of the country from Delhi, Manipur, Tamil Naidu, Assam, Haryana, Tilangana, Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir are likely to participate in the championship, he said adding that over 500 players are participating in the championship.
The championship is being held in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior age groups for both male and female.
