UDHAMPUR : The residents of Rathian, held a strong protest against the government for not providing the basic amenities like road, power and water.
While addressing the gathering Veer Dev Singh said that Rathian is at a distance of only 2 kilometers from the District Headquarter of Udhampur but till date it has not connected with the road. Similarly it is also lagging in the matter of power supply and water supply.
Singh said that over 500o people of Rathian are deprived of these facilities and they said that if the administration does not give immediate attention to Rathian, they will intensify their agitation and block the National Highway.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Capt Karan Singh and Bodh Raj.
