Swami Vivekananda—a paradigm of truth

According to William James, Vivekananda is simply a wonder for oratorical power …………. The Swami is an honour to
humanity.
In my deep contemplation, I must go through the ransack of our previous time. Why disasters occurred in our country? Why natural calamities haunted our pious land? Why squalid mankind pine for segregation only. Let us first get inside and question ourselves, we just avoid quizzical situation as we show we are very busy, we don’t have any time because we have joined hands with the current technology, we have computer aided minds and yet we have become super modern or post modern. I just laugh to think that Vivekananda or any other contemporary thinker or any thoughtful person or (savant) the word which I used to give weight to theme never denied scientific theories. Why we don’t study the literature fully and thoroughly. They never and never denied scientific development of our country. But little knowledge is always a dangerous thing, we don’t go through the whole chapter or whole page or whole life of a saint.
All the problems are brought only by ignorant people. They use only single phase of the light or they are side faced. In am not posing as a critic to anybody but pitiful, tardy plight of our country is attempting to tarnish rich cultural heritage of our country which is a biggest threat.
Our 2016 literacy report tells us that 669, 482, 880 person or 72.14 per cent (age 15 years and above) in India are able to read and write. Accordingly about 25,85,36,710 are illiterate. Today our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is carrying the message of our saints to enlighten India, literate Indian masses and to educate women. Literary rate of female population is 62.84 per cent. Don’t you think we have lagged behind.
Rousseau the Great Naturalist thinker and philosopher was in the favour of educating the women because woman can teach other six of the family.
Child labour and old aged labour is a biggest scar, how can it be removed? Can any surf excel remove (Ziddi Daag). 45.7 per cent child dependency ratio is deducted and aged dependency ratio in India is 84 per cent.
Today, we see, people in our country complaining about one after the other problem physical ailments or psychological ailments. I am asking those people how much time they give to Pranayama, the power of breathing. It is a moot question, a debatable quizzical situation one has to face. It is said that Sarvodaya Vigyan only can give oxygen to people who are living but their senses are dead. We apply so many face packs, face masks, scrub, cleanser and moisturizer etc to rejuvenate our deed skin but dead cells can be regenerated only though Pranayama.
Out of 100 – 89 per cent of the population is having mental or psychological suffering. Our brain has six power banks.
Balance of mind, free of tension free of depression, channelize restive mind, and restrain power of mind & concentration.
These six power banks can be restored by power of meditation only. Swami Vivekananda could recite pages of the books verbally with single reading. He knew where the particular line in written and on which page it is located. He could complete reading the book in 15 to 20 minutes this was the magic of power bank. Which was enlightened and developed by Vivekananda with meditative practices. He was of the view that there is nobody without a problem or a hurdle but we must face it and fight with it. He said, “In a day when you don’t come across any problem you can be sure that you are travelling in a wrong path.” Why wrong path because luxurious life has less impediments and honest and laborious life has one after the other problem. But when we cope with it, our stamina and perseverance builds, maintains the capability and confidence automatically comes. Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi have said the same.
Vivekananda also said, “In a conflict between heart and brain follow your heart.”
Practical people always follow the brain, sentimental follows heart but above knowledge and wisdom always compassion and love wins that resides in the heart. Hence above quote of Vivekananda is beyond any argument.
At last, I must say with my heart full of spiritual endowment. Vivekananda is the least gatherer of materialistic resources, he was one such ‘Name’. Everyone desires to be called by the Same. We exchange panegeric views about him because we value him. Our singing words in his glory will echo the minds of the dumb and deaf to speak and hear. He himself writes in his
verses.
“You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make your spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”
